Vem da mesma vinha do Pedra Negra, com outra intenção. As duas terras encontram-se nesta garrafa, não no terroir, mas no nome. Granito sustenta a videira. Calcário ergue-se no nome. Duas pedras, duas águas, um vinho.
Bebe-se a 16-18 graus, decantado por duas horas. Trezentas existem. Não haverá mais.
From the same vineyard as Pedra Negra, with a different intention. The two lands meet in this bottle, not in the terroir, but in the name. Granite holds the vine. Limestone stands in the name. Two stones, two waters, one wine.
Serve at 16-18 degrees, decanted for two hours. Three hundred exist. There will be no more.

Cada garrafa do Duas Pedras é numerada à mão antes de sair da adega. O número é aplicado em tinta bronze oxidada, sobre o relevo seco do papel. Um gesto pequeno, repetido trezentas vezes, que dá a cada garrafa o seu lugar na série.
Each bottle of Duas Pedras is numbered by hand before leaving the cellar. The number is applied in oxidized bronze ink, over the dry relief of the paper. A small gesture, repeated three hundred times, that gives each bottle its place in the series.

Onde as pedras se encontram Where the stones meet
O granito sustenta a vinha do Norte. O calcário sustenta a salina do Centro. Trezentos quilómetros separam as duas pedras, dois mil anos de história ligam-nas. As mesmas mãos romanas que fundaram Aquae Flaviae em Chaves no ano 79 conheciam o sal de Rio Maior. Mais tarde, o Rei D. Dinis administrou as duas terras sob a Ordem de Cristo, em 1312.
Esta garrafa reúne as duas terras no copo. A vinha é granito. O nome é calcário. Não se mistura terroir, junta-se memória.
Granite holds the vineyard of the north. Limestone holds the saltpan of the centre. Three hundred kilometres separate the two stones, two thousand years of history connect them. The same Roman hands that founded Aquae Flaviae in Chaves in the year 79 knew the salt of Rio Maior. Centuries later, Dinis I administered both lands under the Order of Christ, in 1312.
This bottle joins the two lands in the glass. The vineyard is granite. The name is limestone. Terroir is not blended; memory is.
